Ioni was a water deity, daughter of Nereus and Oceanid Doris. She lived in the depths of the sea on a gold throne with her father. The beautiful daughter came out to the coast when the sea was calm dancing gracefully like a beautiful fairy with her long green hair reaching her feet and spread joy and happiness to the people of the sea.
